Very interesting to see when it was and was not possible to offer help, and watch what people did, or did not do, when there was an opportunity to help (i.e. run toward, run away, administer CPR, help people get away from further danger). With some crashes its all over for everybody on board virtually instantaneously, but in others there are crucial minutes or maybe only seconds to make the difference between life and death, or health and severe injury. Flight personnel recite this stuff ad nausem but it’s incredible to watch the escape down the slides when it’s a life or death matter, notably before the fireball likely to come and settle all questiions with utter finality.
