Okay, while Family Guy might look like a Simpsons rip-off on the offset, the show shines through with its own irreverent brilliance that can be found in the fact that nearly each scene finds one member of the cast destroying at least one social norm in today's society via hardcore slapstick sketches, so much so that the only thing missing from the equation to keep it from becoming a good candidate for excommunication was rampant sex and nudity.
