Star Wars has become a pretty big franchise, even after the entire first and second arcs have finished on the big screen. The entire saga has been immortalized for decades, and the music from Star Wars only helped maintain that dignity throughout the entire series, and further cemented John Williams as a genius composer.

There’s hardly anybody in my age group (give or take a few generations older or younger) who doesn’t know what Friends is. As a matter of fact, given how long-lived the series was, I’m surprised they didn’t come up with with a movie to wrap everything up. And of course, since the music from Friends never changed throughout the ten seasons that the show aired, one can only expect the lyrics to be embedded in the minds of all its viewers like deep-impact shrapnel.

The Transformers were an icon of the 80’s just as much as Hiroshima was a WWII monument of the 40’s. Every kid on the block knew who Optimus Prime and Megatron were, and could easily mimic the transformation sequences’ sound effects. But recall of the music from The Transformers was such that although various incarnations of the theme were created throughout the years, the very essence of the original still shone through like the eternal voice of Optimus Prime himself.
