It’s official. Michael Bay is this generation’s Ed Wood. The only difference between the two is that the former has an astronomically bigger budget to make bad movies with, and sadly, an astronomically bigger gross at the box office, thanks to suckers like us.
There are just too many things wrong with Transformers: Dark of the Moon that they can actually be desensitizing, especially when the entire Internet is filled with nothing but loathing for it. So, for the sake of positivity, which my shrink says I need loads of, I’m listing the things that I actually DID LIKE about the movie, terrible filmmaking notwithstanding.
For those fortunate enough not to have seen the latest (and thankfully, THE LAST) Transformers movie yet but are still planning to go, some SPOILERS AHEAD.
1. Alan Tudyk
Sci-fi TV and Joss Whedon fave Tudyk plays John Turturro’s effete assistant Dutch, who for the briefest of moments channels his character Alpha from the now-cancelled series Dollhouse and transforms into a badass.

Ryan Dunn, an original member of the Jackass crew, died Monday morning in a car crash at the age of 34. Of all the Jackasses, Dunn was one of the more likeable ones, mainly because he didn’t come across as much of a douche the way Bam Margera and the others did. He was in fact one of the less outspoken members of the group. He, however, was no less daring than anyone in Jackass. Here are 10 of his most memorable stunts.

What’s the most clichéd thing a child star can do to shed the innocent cuteness they first became famous for to make people realize they’re not kids anymore? Get naked, of course.

We are all obsessed with celebrity boobs, whether we admit or not. Every single time an actress or a singer pops a tit out, it’s news. Even when the star involved has already showed so much more for a film, a TV show, a magazine or a sex tape, we still give the time of day for a split second peek at some starlet’s nipple. Ask any woman you know which type of crime they fear most would be committed against them, and the answer will always be rape. Rape, after all, is one of the most, if not the most painful crime a human being can ever commit against another human being. It is not just a one-time crime that ends the moment the act is over. The actual act is only the beginning, with the victim later suffering years, if not a lifetime, of self-loathing, trauma, and in some cases, scorn from other people. And it greatly affects the lives not only of the victim, but of their families and loved ones as well.
History has proven that just about anyone can be a rapist. The news is often replete with stories of fathers raping their daughters, friendly neighbors brutally attacking the girl next door, etc. In the same vein, anyone can also become a victim. Just like these murdered celebrities, these famous women are a testament that heinous crimes can happen to just about anyone.

One of the most influential jazz artists of all time, Billie Holiday was molested at the age of 10. A few years later, she was raped by a neighbor named Wilbert Rich, who was caught in the act by the singer’s mother. The rapist was thrown in jail, but only spent three months there.

It’s bad enough to trip or fall down when no one’s looking. It’s an entirely different story when you fall on your face in front of other people, and in the case of these flat footed singers, in front of an audience of thousands. Some of these falls actually look dangerous they could qualify as a near miss, but no one seems to have gotten hurt seriously. They’re all still performing, aren’t they?
I believe our moms told us it’s mean to laugh when someone trips and falls. Sorry Mom.
