I agree with everything except for the 3rd one. I'm a natural liar and do it extremely often during the day just to avoid unnecessary conversations. When a fellow student asks me a question like 'Did you REALLY not look off my paper during the test?' I just scoff, roll my eyes, and put my hand on my hip while snorting something along the lines 'Like hell I'd copy off YOU'. Sometimes Body Language is 100 percent needed. If your as stiff as a board and staring at them with a straight face, it's an obvious sign that your trying to get away with something. You need to act casual as though THEY were the ones wrong for even thinking such a thing. Turn it back around on them.

So, a good natural amount of eye contact but not a mad-dog stare down then, eh?

Those tips are very good, except for the first one.
Interrogators are trained to spot certain body language, when a suspect wants to win trust he or she tends to maintain eye contact throughout the interrogation and also used the first name of the person to show he or she is trustworthy.

It would work on your boss though. ;)
