Depending on how much “Fate” is outraged with LeBron James’, he might be added to this list soon enough. For some reason, I don’t think she [Fate] is done keeping him from a championship ring… and to be honest… I can see why. I still am in support of LeBron and hope that before he retires, he is ready to obtain at least one ring, but there’s still some personal exploration that he needs to do and reflect on his actions before/during his departure from Cleveland to go to Miami in 2010. His Destiny was that he only had one more year with Cleveland before he won a Championship, now his impatience will come at a cost and I feel his pain despite my disappointment with his behavior.

Kevin Johnson should be on this list ! He did magic for the Phoenix Suns . 1993 Kevin Johnson and Charles Barkley were robbed of Championship, by Micheal Jordan and the Bulls.

Pistol Pete is not “one of the flashiest players” in NBA history, he is number one without any competition. Just check out some of the U-tube vids on the pistol and have your jaw drop. He couldn’t have guarded your grandmother on defense but he was the most creative offensive player to ever lace up sneakers.

Good list, but one thing is wrong:

John Stockton and Patrick Ewing made the list of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players of all time well before their career ended, unlike your post might indicate. This particular list was created in honour of the 50 year anniversary of the NBA, which was in 1996 if I remember correctly.
